My casual necklaces are strung on cord and are shorter than most of the others; they are just for fun and may or may not have any spiritual healing qualities, although a lot of them include jade of various types, which is known for healing and protection. Some of them have vermeil or sterling silver clasps, but mostly they are made with brass, pewter, and gold-clad beads. Many of them include bone beads and other natural beads, but not all of them have gemstones. Some of them include pendants from Nepal. The brass Buddha eye pendants are reversible. The beads are chosen for their large holes to start with; most gemstone beads will not fit on the cord, and then for their style. For these reasons, they are much less expensive than the usual ones that I spend hours making; all of them sell for $50 each plus $8 shipping, packaging and insurance. I am hoping to serve a market that likes the style of my pieces and may not wish to spend what the usual ones cost in order to have something unique. As with the other necklaces, each is one of a kind. There's also a peacock pin from India for the same price. I added the dangles and the stone in the middle.
